Is it time to pump up the volume? Our skin becomes vulnerable to wrinkles and fine lines as we age, primarily influenced by sun damage and muscle activity. Facial fillers offer a solution to improve these concerns through targeted injections.

Our patients’ favorite dermal fillers Juvéderm and Restylane are derived from hyaluronic acid, which by the way, is naturally occurring in our bodies. Both Juvéderm and Restylane offer their collection of fillers designed to target specific areas on the face and body, which can:

• Diminish wrinkles
• Volumize the undereye area
• Enhance lip volume and hydration
• Restore lost soft-tissue volume
• Elevate depressed scars
• Add volume to facial creases and folds

Juvéderm and Restylane fillers are made of hyaluronic acid-based gel injected into the skin. By attracting and binding water molecules, hyaluronic acid provides hydration and plumping.

Your injections will be administered using fine needles, followed by a cool compress for comfort and to reduce bruising and swelling.

• Restylane Lyft®: improves under-eye hollows, adds volume to cheeks and temples, enhances the jawline, and adds fullness to the backs of the hands.

• Cheek: Filler temporarily lifts and contours the cheeks and may diminish the appearance of laugh lines. This treatment takes 30 minutes.
• Under Eye: Filler temporarily reduces the look of tired eyes by diminishing the hollowing under the eyes. Injecting this area creates a more refreshed and wide-awake look. This treatment takes about 1 hour.
• Cheek and Under Eye: This combination treatment uses filler to temporarily lift and contour the cheeks and reduce the look of tired eyes. Injecting these areas creates a more refreshed look. This treatment takes around 45 minutes.
• Lips: Filler can add temporary volume and a more structured shape to your lips. It can also be injected strategically to soften vertical lines around your mouth. This treatment takes around 45 minutes.
• Chin: Filler temporarily restores lost soft-tissue volume in the lower face. Injecting this area gives more definition to the face and balances the profile. It’s also used to smooth the appearance of a cleft chin. This treatment takes around 30 minutes.
• Jawline: Filler temporarily sculpts the jawline and gives more definition to the face. This treatment takes around 30 minutes.
• Lower Face: Juvéderm and Restylane temporarily smooth out the fine lines around the mouth and upturn the corners. This treatment takes around 30 minutes.
• Smile Lines: Juvéderm and Restylane temporarily soften the look of smile lines by lifting the nasolabial folds. Pro tip: This pairs well with our cheek filler option. This treatment takes around 30 minutes.
• Hands: Filler temporarily restores volume loss in the tops of the hand. Injecting this area creates a softened, more youthful look. Your treatment takes 30 minutes, and we recommend up to 3 syringes.
• Neckline: Filler temporarily smooths horizontal lines we get from looking down at our devices. This treatment takes around 30 minutes. Note: Given the nature of this area, two sessions may be needed.
• Neck and Chest: Juvéderm and Restylane temporarily soften the look of smile lines by lifting the nasolabial folds. This treatment takes around 30 minutes.
• Earlobes: Filler can temporarily rejuvenate and plump up thin or floppy earlobes after years of wearing heavy earrings. This treatment takes around 30 minutes.

As mentioned above, these procedures are quick, typically lasting only 30-45 minutes per area, ensuring minimal disruption to your day so you can get back to doing what you enjoy most.

Your results will vary depending on the formula used, the area treated, and your metabolism. According to Juvéderm, results can last for six months to 2 years. According to Restylane, results may last up to 6 months for the hands and 6-18 months for lips, cheeks, and smile lines.

Were you treated somewhere other than Skin Haven and unhappy with your results? We can also dissolve filler by injecting hyaluronidase, a naturally occurring type of protein in the body. This treatment takes 15-30 minutes.

Juvéderm is manufactured by Allergan, while Galderma makes Restylane. Under the umbrella of both Juvéderm and Restylane is a collection of fillers formulated to target specific areas on the face and body.
